Our Story

a bejeweled crown on top of a rock

Wishing Well Collective is a disability- and queer-owned consulting studio reimagining access in the beauty and fashion industries (and beyond).

Founded by former Special Educator and disabled creator Ashton McGrady and Occupational Therapist Kailey Waskall, their work bridges clinical insight, lived experience, and creative strategy to help brands build access into the heart of what they do.

We offer accessibility audits, strategy sessions, educational workshops, downloadable resources, and content collaborations that center disabled consumers at every stage.

From packaging to product development, brand activations to social media, we help our clients move from performative inclusion to meaningful, lasting change.

What We Offer

Every brand is at a different stage in its accessibility journey—and we’re here to meet you there. Our work is never one-size-fits-all; we build thoughtful, customized packages designed around your goals, your audience, and the real-world experiences you want to create.

  • We evaluate your brand through both clinical expertise and lived experience to identify barriers and opportunities.

    • Packaging audits (grip, opening force, readability, usability)

    • In-store and event experience walkthroughs

    • Marketing material accessibility (contrast, layout, readability)

  • We help you build accessibility into your products from the start—not as an afterthought.

    • Packaging design consultation (ergonomics, tactile cues, ease of use)

    • Sensory-friendly product recommendations

    • Universal design integration

    • Prototype feedback and iteration support

  • Because accessibility doesn’t stop at the product—it’s how you communicate, too.

    • Accessible content strategy (social, email, campaigns)

    • Alt-text systems and templates

    • Inclusive language guidance

    • Campaign accessibility audits

  • We translate accessibility into something your team can actually understand and apply.

    • Team trainings (accessibility 101 → advanced application)

    • Sensory-friendly design workshops

    • Packaging and product design intensives

    • Custom workshops for your industry

  • For brands ready to make accessibility part of their long-term strategy.

    • Embedded accessibility partner

    • Monthly or quarterly strategy sessions

    • Support across launches, campaigns, and product lines
